(Forelines) – JNIM, Al Qaeda affiliate has claimed it killed 70 troops in raids on two army posts in Benin, according to the SITE Intelligence Group report on Saturday.

The West African state and its coastal neighbour Togo have emdured a series of assaults in current years as groups connected to Islamic State and al Qaeda have extended their presence across the Sahel area to the north.
