(Forelines)- From September 15–17, 2025, the Armed Forces will host the Combined Commanders’ Conference (CCC) in Kolkata, West Bengal. “Year of Reforms – Transforming for the Future” is the theme for this year’s conference, Indian Defence Ministry said in a statement.
The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the conference, and Defence Minister, National Security Advisor, Minister of State for Defence of India, Chief of Defense Staff, and Defense Secretary will also be present.
In addition to officers from the three Services and Integrated Defence Staff, secretaries from other Ministries are also expected to be present.
Reforms, Transformation & Change, and Operational Readiness will be the main topics of the CCC 2025. When taken as a whole, these demonstrate the Armed Forces’ dedication to technological modernization, deeper integration, and institutional reforms while maintaining a high degree of multi-domain operational preparedness.
The goal of the discussions will be to further fortify the Armed Forces, which are nimble and decisive in a geostrategic environment that is becoming more complicated. The conference will offer interactive sessions with officers and people of different ranks from the Armed Forces, continuing the history of inclusive involvement and guaranteeing that field-level insights enhance the highest-level debates.
