(Forelines) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi emplaned for an Official visit to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, July 23 2025, according to Indian Ministry of External affairs.
From July 23 to 24, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an official visit to the United Kingdom at the request of The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Modi will be visiting the UK for the fourth time, Indian Ministry of External affairs said in a statement.
Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Starmer will discuss a wide range of topics pertaining to India-UK bilateral relations during the visit. Additionally, they will provide opinions on matters of regional and international significance.
Prime Minister Modi is anticipated to visit His Majesty King Charles III as well. The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) will also be reviewed during the visit, with particular attention paid to trade and economics, technology and innovation, defense and security, climate, health, education, and people-to-people relations.
“India and UK share a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership that has witnessed significant progress in recent years. Our collaboration spans a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, technology, innovation, defence, education, research, sustainability, health and people-to-people ties,” PM Modi said in a statement.
“During my meeting with Prime Minister Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer, we will have the opportunity to further enhance our economic partnership, aimed at fostering prosperity, growth and jobs creation in both countries. I also look forward to calling on His Majesty King Charles III during the visit,” PM Modi added.
