(Forelines) – Before the 2025 Monsoon Session began, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the media today on the grounds of Parliament. As he welcomed everyone to the Monsoon session, the Prime Minister said that the monsoon represents creativity and rebirth and that the country’s current weather patterns are improving favorably, providing positive agricultural projections, India’s PMO said in a statement.
PM Modi pointed out that rainfall is essential to every household’s financial stability as well as the rural economy and the country’s general economic structure.
According to current data, water reservoir levels this year have increased in comparison to the previous ten years, said PM Modi. He underlined that this development will have a major positive impact on India’s economy in the days ahead.
In addition to highlighting the historic occasion when the Indian tricolor flag was first unfurled at the International Space Station, the Prime Minister Modi said.

“Initiatives like Digital India and Unified Payments Interface (UPI) are showcasing India’s emerging capabilities to the world with global recognition and interest in India’s digital ecosystem are rapidly increasing”, said the Prime Minister Modi.
UPI has made a significant impact in the fintech space, PM Modi said. He underlined that India leads the world in this area and records more digital transactions in real time than any other nation.
PM Modi emphasized India’s noteworthy achievements at a recent international organization gathering. More than 90 crore Indians are now covered by social security, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO), marking a significant advancement in the social welfare sector.
The World Health Organization (WHO), which has proclaimed India free of trachoma—an eye condition that is frequently observed during the monsoon season—was another source cited by the prime minister Modi. He underlined that India’s public health initiatives had reached a major turning point with this acknowledgment.
“In response, representatives from most political parties and states rose above partisan interests and embarked on international outreach in service of the nation,” The terrible events in Pahalgam that shook the globe and raised awareness of terrorism and its sympathizers were recounted by Prime Minister Modi.
PM Modi emphasized how effective this coordinated diplomatic effort was in exposing Pakistan as a global supporter of terrorism. He conveyed his sincere gratitude to the lawmakers and political parties who executed this crucial national project.
