India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Locomotive Manufacturing plant of the Indian Railways in Gujarat’s Dahod district on Monday, in line with his commitment to strengthning connectivity and developing world-class travel facilities.
This plant will generate electric locomotives of 9000 HP for domestic uses and for export. PM Modi further flagged off the first electric locomotive manufactured from the plant.
The locomotives will help in expanding freight carrying capacity of Indian Railways. These locomotives will be integrated with regenerative braking frameworks, and are being designed to decrease energy utilization, which contributes to natural sustainability.
Thereafter, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Serve laid the establishment stone and introduced different advancement ventures worth over Rs 24,000 crore in Dahod. The ventures incorporate rail ventures and different ventures of the Government of Gujarat. He too hailed off Vande Bharat Express between Veraval and Ahmedabad & Express prepare between Valsad and Dahod stations. (Forelines)
