(Forelines) – On Thursday Gandhi Jayanti, the anniversary of the Father of the Nation’s birth, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a passionate homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
Mahatma Gandhi’s lasting legacy of truth, non-violence, and moral courage—which continues to inspire generations worldwide—was emphasized by the prime minister.
He restated the country’s dedication to Gandhiji’s values as a framework for the shared quest for an inclusive and developed India.
“Gandhi Jayanti is about paying homage to the extraordinary life of beloved Bapu, whose ideals transformed the course of human history. He demonstrated how courage and simplicity could become instruments of great change. He believed in the power of service and compassion as essential means of empowering people. We will keep following his path in our quest to build a Viksit Bharat,” India’s PM Modi said in a post on X.
