(Forelines) – According to two Syrian army sources and state-run El Ekhbariya TV, quoted by Reuters that Israel launched a series of strikes on former army facilities in Kiswa, in the countryside of southwestern Damascus, on Wednesday. Within a 24-hour span, this was the second attack.
Among the most important military outposts utilized by pro-Iranian militias under Assad were the Kiswa area and Jabal Manea, Reuters added.
As per the report, Israel has increased its attacks in southern Syria, and the most recent attacks take place as Damascus and its longtime adversary hold security negotiations in an effort to achieve an agreement to ease tensions.
