Israeli attacks kills at least 64 people in Gaza

(Forelines) – Around 64 persons have been killed in Israel’s strikes on Gaza since Friday morning, and the number of fatalities continues to increase, as per to medical sources cited by Al Jazeera.

The United Nations’ World Food Programme has issued an immediate warning, mentioning that “Gaza needs food now” as thousands of people are at food insecurity.

As per Al Jazeera report, people in Gaza are “psychologically broken” due to consistant Israel’s airstrikes and the scarcity of food led to the Israel’s siege on assistance supplies. Severals are suffering to provide food their children.

As per the Wafa news agency, Israel’s forces detained eight Palestinians in the Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the captured West Bank. Troops allegedly stormed the camp, arrested multiple people, and ultimately detained eight. Wafa news agency further stated that multiple homes were raided, and internal property was destroyed and smashed.

A paediatrician, Hazem Musleh, at the Kuwaiti Hospital in southern Gaza’s Rafah sector, said Al Jazeera that more children are deceased or facing critical health threats due to the increasing effect of Israeli strikes.

Al-Haq, On World Heritage Day, human rights group stated that Israel has targeted multiple Palestinian cultural zones, consisting of few listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.

Al Jazeera further stated that the al-Makhrour sector, located in the northern Bethlehem region of the captured West Bank and noted to the United Nations World Heritage List in 2014, is addressing increased risks of land seizing by Israel’s migrants, as per the Al-Haq.

The Gaza official Media Office stated the death toll in Gaza has now passed 61,700. It further stated that thousands of people are yet missing under the ruins and are held dead. Around 1,16,505 people have been wounded since the conflict started 18 months ago.

According to Al Jazeera, around 1,139 people were killed in Israel amid the Hamas-led strikes on October 7, 2023. Over 200 people were taken prisoner.
