Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, as per press release from India’s Prime Minister office.

Israeli PM Netanyahu gave the PM Modi an update on the latest events and the changing dynamics between Iran and Israel.

PM Modi underlined the importance of restoring peace and stability in the area as soon as possible and expressed India’s concerns.

The two leaders decided to stay in communication.

As per Reuters, Israel launched attacks on Iran on Friday, claiming to have struck military leaders, ballistic missile manufacturers, and nuclear facilities as part of an operation to stop Tehran from developing a nuclear
