(Forelines) – An Istanbul prosecutor launched another judicial disquisition into the megacity’s Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu on Monday for trying to impact the bar following he criticised legal examinations into opposition- run cosmopolises, according to Turkish media.

At a press conference, Imamoglu said the same expert substantiation had been appointed for several judicial examinations into him and other quarter cosmopolises in Istanbul run by the CHP main opposition party, to which Imamoglu belongs.
The government dismisses allegations of political hindrance in the cases and says the bar is independent.
According to the private Anka news agency and other Turkish media, the new disquisition, comes a week following a judicial inquiry was carried out against Imamoglu for criticising the Istanbul prosecutor for the short detention of the CHP’s youth branch head.

He appealed against the judgment , but if it’s upheld by advanced courts he could be banned from politics for five times.
He wasre-elected as mayor last time when Erdogan’s AKP suffered its worst ever losses in external choices.
