According to ARY News report, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally, led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, entered the capital city of Islamabad on Tuesday, marking the start of a crucial protest demanding the release of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan from prison.

The rally, which includes convoys from Hazara Division, DI Khan, and Balochistan, joined Gandapur’s motorcade at the Hakla interchange, ARY News report.

Prominent figures such as Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife, along with other senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders are participating in the protest. The protest comes after unsuccessful negotiations between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), with both sides unable to reach an agreement during talks held at the Minister’s Enclave.

The government’s delegation, including Amir Muqam, Ayaz Sadiq, and Mohsin Naqvi, met with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)representatives Asad Qaiser, Shibli Faraz, and Barrister Gohar.

Barrister Gohar also visited Adiala Jail twice to deliver messages to Imran Khan, As per ARY News report.

The government has suggested relocating the protest from Peshawar Morr to Sangjani for better management and proposed forming a committee to discuss the release of detained Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members. They warned that non-compliance could lead to a targeted operation to disperse the protest, As per Local Media report.

The public safety and security concern have been raised, with reports indicating the presence of wanted individuals and Afghan terrorists within the protest.

Earlier, a meeting was held at Adiala Jail with Imran Khan, Barrister Gohar, and Barrister Muhammad Ali, where they discussed the possibility of resuming talks with government representatives and considered alternative protest sites, including D-Chowk.
