Mining in Pataz northern district of Peru will be halted for 30 days, President Dina Boluarte stated on Monday, following 13 gold mine workers in the region were kidnapped and killed by illegitimate miners.

Government of Peru further plans to build a military base and impose a curfew beginning from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the district. (Forelines)
