(Forelines) – Russia’s Interfax news agency quoted the Armenian Defense Ministry on Saturday, saying that the United States and Armenia will hold joint military exercises in Armenia from August 12 to 20, as per Reuters report.
According to the government, Reuters quoted that the Eagle Partner 2025 drills will concentrate on medical evacuation protocols and peacekeeping duties.
According to Reuters, although the two countries have historically been close, Armenia is a treaty ally of Russia and has recently gotten tense as Yerevan moves closer to the West.
