Earliar, Israeli Defence Forces said on Sunday that it strucked many military targets owned by the Houthi terrorist group in Sanaa, Yemen, including a military installation housing the presidential palace, the Adar and Hizaz power plants, and a fuel storage facility—all of which are utilized for Houthi military operations.

According to the IDF, these assaults were carried out in retaliation for the Houthi’s frequent missile and unmanned aerial vehicle attacks on Israel.

IDF further said Iran-backed Houthis are still using civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes.

“STRUCK: Multiple military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in Sanaa, Yemen, including a military site in which the presidency palace is located, the Adar and Hizaz power plants, and a site for storing fuel—all used for the military activity of the Houthi regime. These strikes were carried out in response to repeated Houthi attacks on Israel with missiles and UAVs. The Houthis, backed by Iran, continue to exploit civilian infrastructure for terror purposes,” IDF said in a post on X.
