Chinese satellite firm is supporting Houthi Rebels attacks on US interests, says US State Department

(Forelines) – The United States State Department on Thursday alleged a Chinese firm, Chang Guang Satellite Technology, of openly supporting strikes on United States interests by Iran-backed Houthi Rebels.

Prior, the Financial Times quoted U.S. authorities as mentioning that the satellite company, connected to Chinese military, was providing Houthi fighters with imagery to hit United States warships and global ships in the Red Sea.

“We can confirm the reporting that Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company Limited is directly supporting Iran-backed Houthi terrorist attacks on U.S. interests,” Tammy Bruce, State Department spokesperson stated a regular news addressing.
