People or entities that give Tehran with certain construction-supplies will face sanctions following the President Trump administration stated it identified more supplies were being used as portion of Iran’s nuclear, ballistic or military programs, as per Reuters.
According to the Reuters, in a release, the United States Department of State stated on Wednesday it had identified Tehran’s construction sector was managed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and that it had identified additional 10 strategic supplies now subject to United States sanctions.
“With these determinations, the United States has broader sanctions authorities to prevent Iran from acquiring strategic materials for its construction sector under IRGC control and its proliferation programs,” it stated in a statement.
The 10 supplies comprise austenitic nickel-chromium alloy, magnesium ingots, sodium perchlorate, tungsten copper and certain aluminum sheets and tubes, among others, it stated in a statement.
