(Forelines) – On July 28, 2025, Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Takehiro Funakoshi met with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in New Delhi for a bilateral Foreign Secretary-Vice Minister Dialogue, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

The conversation was crucial in assessing the state of our relations in a number of sectors, looking into potential new areas of cooperation, and strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Japan and India.
