(Forelines) – The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), a game-changing program that has revolutionized financial inclusion throughout India, celebrated its 11th anniversary today under Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. By attaining the last mile’s financial inclusion, Modi confirmed that PMJDY has improved dignity and empowered individuals to write their own future, India’s PMO said in a statement.
Responding to posts by MyGovIndia on X, Shri Modi stated:
“From financial exclusion to empowerment! Here is a glimpse of how PM Jan Dhan Yojana has transformed lives across India,” In response to MyGovIndia’s posts on X, PM Modi said.
“When the last mile is financially connected, the entire nation moves forward together. That is exactly what the PM Jan Dhan Yojana achieved. It enhanced dignity and gave people the power to script their own destiny,” PM Modi added in another post.
