According to Palestinian sources who spoke to Reuters on Monday, Israel’s refusal to allow the safe and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza is the main obstacle to the ceasefire talks currently underway in Qatar.
The two sources stated, cited by Reuters that early Monday, Israeli authorities and the Palestinian militant group Hamas held an indirect round of ceasefire talks mediated by middlemen. The discussions were to resume in the evening.
